OOTD: Petaluma Maxi Skirt

We went out to dinner again last night and baby slept through the whole thing! He opened his eyes a couple of times and looked around, but went right back to sleep without a peep! Such a sweetie!

I love the Petaluma Sweater Skirt because it's so soft and cozy, but I have the hardest time figuring out what to wear with it. The main color is purple, but it's "heathered" with either grey or brown, something taupey--basically when I put something brown next to it, it looks grey and vice versa. So I just went super comfy and wore a J Crew Perfect Tee in grey. The Dog Rose Pullover actually looks pretty with it, but the dark skirt shows through the thin cream sweater, so now I must find the right color/length cami to layer underneath.
